4:14pm- We see a cute commercial with horses, which turns out to be for Bud Light (?). Jiggs says, “You know what would suck? Being an animal in love, and not being able to walk on hind legs. You could never hold hands!!”

4:16pm- Jiggs almost dies choking on a pepperoni.

4:22pm- Ashley needs to find her own David Abernathy. (Cars.com commercial)

4:29pm- We have failed at paying attention to this game. Apparently, John Madden just said something about “penetration.”

4:34pm- Ashley asks, “When is halftime?” She then proceeds to exclaim her want to watch the special Super Bowl edition of “Wipe Out: Cheerleaders vs. Couch Potatoes.” Jiggs is just waiting to watch The Boss.

4:46pm- Ashley is out-drinking Jiggs.

4:51pm- I think something exciting is happening.

4:52pm- Touchdown counts! I was right!

4:55pm- While Ashley is in the bathroom, Jiggs is going to passively-aggressively use this moment to remind Ashley not to use “I” in a blog shared by 2 people for it shall confuse all of our many many readers.

4:57pm- Ashley comes out of the bathroom. Jiggs waits patiently for Ashley to read the live blog updates.

5:00pm- lol

5:04pm- Jiggs is very disappointed in this year’s batch of Super Bowl commercials.

5:07pm- Ashley has left the room and is about to return in her Bruce Springsteen concert t-shirt. She is so cool.

5:18pm- Jiggs contemplates how Bruce became The Boss? Did he slowly become The Boss or did he one day just decide that he was The Boss? Much like Greg McGarry’s transition towards Purple Guy.

5:22pm- LMAO. We liked that.

5:34pm- Jiggs goes to take a nap while Ashley stays in the living room and snacks.

5:38pm- UGHHH there are two hours left and now I can’t even change the channel to something stupid because Wipeout is over.

6:02pm- I am now officially watching House instead of the Super Bowl. Sorry.

If you don’t want to listen to Ashley ramble about Batman and politics for 16 minutes, just skip through pretty much the entire middle section.
